Get to know me!
Hello! My name is Abby Garcia. I am a New York City-based actor, producer, writer, and model. I moved from Tampa (Go Bolts!) to New York City in 2018 to pursue a BFA at my dream school, New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Since then, I have been given the opportunity to both study and work professionally in the entertainment industry. In the past few years, I have produced a handful of films, booked a national ad campaign with American Eagle, acted in shorts and plays throughout New York City, and am currently interning with an NYC-based production company, Mother Films. I am one of eight selected NYU students to participate in the Fall 2021 Nine Muses Fellowship with Nine Muses Entertainment, mentored by Bryce Dallas Howard. I am so excited for this opportunity and I cannot wait to see what comes next.

My goal as an artist is to uplift diverse voices in entertainment. I grew up looking for someone on screen who looked like me and someone behind the screen who was creating films I understood. As a proud AAPI artist, I am committed to reflecting the beauty of my culture. It is my biggest hope to create a path for other artists like me and to tell some great stories along the way.
