Originally from just outside of Tampa, Florida, Abby is an actor, producer, writer, and director currently living in New York City. She recently received her BFA in Theatre with a minor in producing from her dream school, New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Abby aims to be a pioneer as a businesswoman and artist. She is actively exploring perspective and culture through her work and how to empowering environments for creation.

Abby began her professional experience as an intern at Mother Films, under CEO and founder Doris Casap (HBO, HBO Latino). There, Abby performed administrative duties while learning about the value of hard work and good stories, under the behest of Casap.

In 2021, Abby was selected out of a competitive group to be one of eight multi-hyphenate artists to participate in the Nine Muses Entertainment Lab. Mentored by Bryce Dallas Howard and Nia Farrell, Abby wrote and directed her debut short, Adobo, where she starred opposite her mom, IRL.

After graduating, Abby spent her summer working as Health and Safety production assistant, then supervisor, on Amazon’s Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

Abby is a loud and proud Filipina with the hopes of illuminating her festive, funny, and loyal culture through her art. Abby is a lover of food (follow her food-stagram, @approvedbyabbs), hockey (go Bolts!), Formula One racing, Buffy, and Gilmore girls. You can most likely find her strolling the streets of the city, bagel in-hand, listening to show tunes or indie rock.
